Throwing masses
Throwing masses are specially designed for the pottery wheel technique. These ceramic masses provide optimal plasticity and strength, which makes it easier to work on the wheel and allows you to create both decorative and functional objects.
Properties of throwing masses:

- Wide range of colors: Throwing clays are available in various shades, allowing for creative design solutions. The final shade also varies depending on the selected firing temperature.
Packaging and shipping
- In a dry state.
- In paper bags of 40 kg.
- In big bags of 0.5 and 1 t on pallets.
- Since this is a natural product, slight deviations from the values stated in the technical documentation are possible.

Recommended throwing masses
THA
Medium-plastic clay for the production of utility ceramics (with a thicker body) by turning and throwing, with a water absorption rate of less than 5%. The recommended firing temperature is 1100-1200 °C. The color of the fired body is brown. The clay is prepared from dry-ground semi-clay, abrasive and water (in a ratio of 1:1) by melting, calcining, kneading and stretching on a belt press.
THS
Plastic throwing mass for the production of utility ceramics by throwing, with a water absorption rate below 5%. The recommended firing temperature is 1100-1200 °C. The color of the fired body is ochre yellow. The material is prepared from dry-ground semi-material, abrasive and water (in a ratio of 1:1) by melting, calcining, kneading and drawing on a belt press.
